Guide Recommendations - These are an excellent alternative to the EP H&H Fly, but with a slightly sparser non-brush head. Blurple in 2/0 is a proven winner in most Tarpon destinations around the globe. Many anglers in Southern Florida have also been using 1/0 hooks with success for juvenile Tarpon. During the summer Tarpon migration off the coast of Georgia, we recommend Blurple or Black/Chartreuse in 3/0. 2/0 to 4/0 hooks will serve you well in trophy class fisheries like Costa Rica & South Africa.
