The Magic Bullet is tied on a premium offset jig hook (and it swims hook gap up for increased snag resistance). We're still fishing one that's caught 14 northerns so far (or at least that was the count when this was written)!
This pattern initially proved its "salt" on pike and stripers in New England, before getting called up for musky. These erratically jig, jolt, kick, dive, and glide, plus they're easy on the shoulder for easy all day casting comfort and rugged reliability.
