Guide Recommendations - Once your frog lands, let the ripples dissipate for 30-60 seconds (it feels like an eternity every time), but make sure to stay ready to strip set. Try to slow down your retrieve, and try to avoid stripping in a rhythm. Most importantly, always strip set. In case of a miss, slightly increase your strip cadence, and stay ready for another surface explosion!

These can be comfortably cast with a 3-weight, but don't be afraid to use more rod, as big bass are just as likely to eat these as smaller fish.
